Tech Lowdown

Why is my SeaLINK USB serial adapter or HazPAC 10 Rugged Panel PC (Part #H1400811) serial port not working in Linux?

Most Sealevel USB serial adapters and serial ports on the HazPAC 10 Rugged Panel PC (Part #H1400811) are compatible with drivers included with the Linux kernel. However, the system may not automatically detect the serial ports. This is most likely because your system does not have a mapping for your device ID. For your convenience, we have provided a bash script that should automatically address this mapping.
